Making Money Matters Convenient Again

U.S. Bank history dates back to 1863 when First National Bank of Cincinnati opened for business. Today, U.S. Bank is the fifth-largest bank in the country, with 73,000 employees and $462 billion in assets. To continue this successful pattern of growth a new prototypical bank branch design was needed to enhance its brand position and customer experience in the highly competitive financial market. We partnered with the U.S. Bank design team and Lincoln Harris on how to cost-effectively develop a design and signage program that could rollout to multiple branches and markets.

Strategy

Intensive mock-ups, prototype testing and engineering were developed to ensure financial cost targets would be met in rollout. This led to rapid new branch deployment of a highly impactful, cost effective program across multiple markets.

Result

The program has been implemented in 20+ branches over a three-year period, both on time and on budget. Program elements are now being deployed into previous formats to renovate existing branches in the network.
