New Albany-Plain local schools, home of the Eagles, is committed to creating a culture of accountability that achieves the best academic and development outcomes for each student.
In order to fulfill this goal, students must receive proper nutrition to feed both their bodies and minds. The existing food service area projected a more industrial feel (see before images) as opposed to representing the fresh and nutritional aspect of the food offering. In turn, the objective was to enhance both the middle school and high school students’ daily dining experience.

Strategy
New Albany-Plain Local school is passionate about serving their students healthy, delicious meals to prepare them to learn in the classroom. The overall strategy was to design and implement a program to enhance each student’s daily dining experience by updating the layout, equipment, wall décor, millwork and graphics.
Result
A collaborative team of C&T Design, KCI Works and Eclipse Corp provided the design, project management, fabrication and delivery of the décor at the New Albany High School in New Albany, Ohio. The final components included serving line equipment, millwork, and signage package consisting of the wall décor, serving line panels, modular walls and checkout counter.
