Huntington is a full-service banking provider primarily operating across a seven-state banking area. Their “Welcome” philosophy centers around deep relationship-building capabilities to best meet each customer’s specific needs. They serve their customers through a banking network of over 800 full-service branches, including 11 Private Client Group offices, and over 1,300 ATM locations.
Strategy
Innovate the retail banking experience, driving a younger generation back to the branch. WD Partners developed the following:
Designed three different concepts to highlight unique banking features
Created banking experiences unique to key customer types
Redesigned the physical bank to showcase Huntington’s digital banking tools
Gave those famous Huntington pens their proper display
Result
The iterative approach allowed the project team to continually test, learn, and evolve, enabling real-time branch experience customer feedback. Working together with Wesney Construction, who was the general contractor, EclipseCorp, who fabricated the unique Huntington pens display, our team at KCI Works fabricated the welcome counter, honeycomb wall, coffee bar, digital monitor housing, ceiling element, and display wall components for three locations (Lane Avenue, North Arlington, Brewery District) in Columbus, Ohio.
