Good Nutrition & Learning Go Hand in Hand.

The Marysville School districts academic program provides opportunities for all students to reach their full potential. Their core goal is to provide a personalized education with a focus on problem solving, collaboration and communication so today's students have the skills they need to be successful in careers, college, and life.

The Marysville School Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well-being, and ability to learn. They support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

To honor this tradition of student development, C&T Design provided the layout, design and food serving line equipment, and KCI Works fabricated and installed the millwork package to create a design equal to Marysville School’s commitment to their students. Each food service station’s clear and distinct signage allows students to see every available food option at its culinary best, allowing these students to know what is fully available to them and make their selection based on their individual needs and wants.

Strategy

With over 5,500 students ranging from kindergarten through grade 12, it was clear that this design would need to be inclusive and intuitive for any student, regardless of age or academic standing. The collaborative goal for Marysville school was to provide students with a cheerful, open design that would quickly and easily show the available dining options. This approach involved taking advantage of the large, open floorplan that let each fixture and sign stand out as its own, equally appealing food station.

Result

A collaborative team of C&T Design and KCI Works provided the design, project management, fabrication, and installation of the updated décor at Marysville High School and Middle School in Marysville, Ohio. The final components included layout and design, serving line equipment and millwork.
